An engagement ring is a treasure of a lifetime and you would wear it regularly. One would always want to always take care of it and maintain it well. You need to clean the engagement ring as often as you can as they do accumulate dirt over the period of time. As you wear your ring daily and do all your work it is quiet obvious that it is subjected to wear and tear and scratches. You can clean your engagement ring at home itself as it is a very simple process. Take luke warm detergent water and before you use any detergent always make sure that it is not harsh as it might harm your precious stones. Always use mild detergents. Soak your engagement ring into the water for at least for half an hour. Once it is soaked well, take soft bristle brush and lightly brush from the inner side as well as the outer side to remove all the dirt which has accumulated. Once you are done with your brushing clean it with fresh water and then rub it very light with a soft cloth. If you are not going to wear the ring then it is best that you store it in your ring box.
